Sometimes we don’t comprehend
when life takes us to other places,
that makes us laugh, shakes our heads,
and puts a quirky smile upon our faces.
We know God is rolling the dice
while we are in this period of grace;
to keep us moving forward in His plan;
a new beginning, a new race.
So we pray, take a deep breath,
turn around and change our pace,
adapt to this new adventure with no map,
footprints, not a trickle of any trace.
We don’t know what’s behind the scenes.
It may be a dream waiting to interlace.
So we walk through the open door
with God’s blessings now in place
-just in case.
